The Right Thing is a community
service provider that is devoted to support and services for the Mentally
Retarded and Developmentally Disabled. The vision for TRT, Inc. is that
each person we serve is treated with dignity, respect and is afforded the
opportunity to grow and learn to the best of their capabilities. Our staff is a committed team that
provides individualized support in a caring and non-restrictive
environment. Beliefs: The Right Thing operates on the belief that individuals with disabilities should have opportunities to be productive members of society. TRT is dedicated to assisting individuals reach higher levels of independence and self sufficiency and encouraged to enter into and become part of mainstream society. Our Mission: The mission of TRT is to provide a broad array of services that support the above beliefs. These services are comprehensive in nature and are delivered in an individual manner to assure the dignity, independence, and realization of the fullest potential of each individual.
